  • Why Solar Therm PV?

Solar Therm was one of the first companies in Sri Lanka to recognize the value of the sun's free energy.

We pioneered solar water heating in Sri Lanka in 1982. With our solar PV electricity customer base running into several thousands, today Solar Therm branded solar energy products are the market leaders' trust by leading Architects & Consultants.

Due to the expansion of activities, in the year 2003, all solar photovoltaic related activities were transferred to our subsidiary company Alpha Solar energy Systems (Private) Limited, which consists of a team of highly qualified experts in the Solar PV field to provide a better and a focused service.

Solar Therm, PV systems are amongst the most efficient in the world, offering big energy savings to homeowners who switch to energy free from the sun.

Our professional experts of Solar Therm are well trained to assess your home and provide you with the best systems to meet your family's / organization's needs. Our installers are trained to the highest standards to ensure the safety and effectiveness of your system.

All this is backed by our comprehensive warranties and the peace of mind you'll get from dealing with Sri Lanka's solar pioneer.

    • * Reduced monthly electricity bills
    • * Availability of the sunlight (Power source) in abundance at no cost
    • * Clean and environmental friendly power source
    • * Reliable and durable equipment with quality workmanship
  • How does it Work?

Harness the freely available sunshine to meet or supplement your energy requirement

The roof mounted photovoltaic (PV) panels will collect the sunlight and will convert the energy in to DC current. This will be then sent through an inverter to convert and generate 230V power which is used in your day to day necessities.

The amount of electricity you can produce depends on the number and efficiency of the panels and the size of the inverter. Your home remains connected to the power grid so when you generate more electricity than you need you can reverse the energy meter and you can purchase electricity from the grid when you are not producing enough to meet your requirements.

    Choose the Best "Solar Therm"

Solar Therm Grid Connected systems are highly standardized and efficient in Sri Lanka, and they deliver more power for each watt installed. Our Grid Tie systems are combined together with our high performance 190W 230W solar panels with a high efficient inverter.

We provide a comprehensive warranty of 10 years for the Solar Panels and the inverter. Also we offer a 12 month installation warranty for our power systems and all installations are performed by our expert highly trained staff at Alpha Solar Energy Systems (Private) Limited.

With decades of experience in the solar energy industry, we use the best Solar Panels in the from world class accredited manufacturers. These panels are designed to meet the highest quality standards to ensure a consistent performance.
